Recently, I have been really active in this group called "Planner Addicts of Singapore"! It is a group of ladies who are in love with decorating their planners with lovely stickers and stamps and colourful pens.
I have always been in love with stationery. I love notebooks, pens, stamp, wax seals, you name it all! I can never walk past a stationery store without going into it. Even QY knows of this little fetish of mine. hahaha.
I am so glad I have a community to relate to, whose husbands/fiance/boyfriends all find it a little crazy that we can spend so much on stickers, washi tapes, planners, notebooks, etc. But when we are together, we make each other normal. haha
Thanks to this lovely bunch of ladies and my dear friend Amanda for buying me my first Erin Condren planner, I have decided to start a blog on my planner journey. The first post is up so I hope it will slowly rise in the planner community.

Passion
Recently, I have been blogging on my school's blog on behalf of the SIM Netball Club.
Just last month, my post was selected to be the best post and was featured on the school's facebook page. Which makes me wonder, do I really have a flair for writing? Do I actually want to become a blogger/go into the writing industry?
Been starting on the planner trend. I have always been using a planner but recently, the trend of decorating your planner has been hot. Was thinking of starting a planner blog, to show my journey as I attempt onto this planner path. But I guess I got to be diligent about it. I am thinking that if I do start one, do I start a separate blog or do I do tabs? I have a wordpress that I am pretty sure is rotting away because I haven't been doing my nails. so I really don't know where I should start. Really need to give this some serious thought as I do feel a strong passion towards it :D
School has been fine. Got back 2 assignments, both A grade. I guess I am really walking on the right path this time. No time to give up now. Gotta keep the engine going all the way to May 2016.
Birthday is in a few weeks' time. Can't wait!

School 😣
School has started (and my NUS counterparts are having term break next week)
So far, things are moving along quite alright. 3 lectures and all the slots I have chosen, I managed to get really good lecturers. Hence, I have to really appreciate how blessed I am to get them and channel it into studying hard.
Found friends in all the lectures so yay! Many study buddies to pull me through this year. I know I've been taking a long time to get through this degree, but since I'm already halfway through it, time to be awesome at it.

Things happen for a reason.
It has been awhile since I've been in this space.
I used to use blogs to complain, to rant, to sound like I actually have a life worth reading.
When I finally realised I have a life worth living, I guess the need to rant/blog just faded away.
Been getting some questions on ask.fm. Think I answered them as appropriately as I could. Many many things happened. Good things, bad things, stupid decisions, second chances. It is really amazing to see how my life turned out from the mess it was in just 5 years ago.
It is all thanks to a beautiful, selfless, forgiving and caring young man who came into my life 3 years back. I remember the time when I was fighting for a boy who would not fight for me, but rather he fought with me. But this man, fought for me even when I thought I could not fight anymore. He stood by me even when I wanted to walk away, because he knew I was walking down the wrong path and he wanted to be there when I realised it to lead me back the right way.
I guess what I really want to say is if he/she fights for you, that is a love worth fighting for. And I mean even if they made a mistake which you forgave and gave a second chance, and they used it to fight for you. But let it go if they rather fight with you before "reluctantly" acknowledging their mistakes. You deserve better. Find a man/woman, don't play with boys/girls.
I can't thank you enough for being in my life. You have been such a strong support, be it in my studies, my work and netball. I promise you, I'll definitely do well for my studies! I love you CQY.

June happenings
Recently, life's been pretty busy with double trainings because I have to guide the recrea team as well as my own training with the competitive team for the ongoing ENL netball competition. Makes me feel like I don't know if I should have given up my role as president.
My dog, Skipper Wee, has started to swim not too long ago. Brought him for a second swim out today with my friend's dog, Sunshine. Do check out his instagram [ig: @skipperweeeee] and if you are a dog lover, do follow and we'll follow back. I really encourage adoption. Mongrels may have the tendency to be a little more aggressive and defensive based on the environment they were born in, but deep within, they are still pups hoping to find a loving home. It's especially sad when the litter has been abandoned by their own mother. Initial stages may cost abit more if you want to correct aggression with trainings, but eventually you'll realise that they are low maintenance eg: no need for elaborate grooming, they are not fussy with food unless you start to spoil them from young.
If you are thinking if it is a good idea to get a mongrel for your first dog, my question to you is why not? Skipper is my first dog btw. Due to our lack of experience, and him being a mongrel, it may not seem like a good match. Yea there might be a few instances where he chooses who he respects, but we still manage to make him understand commands like Sit, Paw, Other Paw, Lie down. It's amazing!

Holidays~
It's the holidays now and my life is packed with netball and piano. It's pretty sad that during the exam period I can grow my nails out and paint them, but yet unable to blog about them. Now that I have all the time in the world, I have a 2 months long netball league so my nails are gonna be short and ugly. Polishes aren't gonna look nice on them ):
The boyf has officially graduated! He got cleared all his modules and will be venturing into a new phase of life. That will be a huge change for me as well as I will have to study on my own without him studying beside me.
Been spamming all my korean dramas all the way until the early morning. That's what holidays are for! Hehe, I am so excited for the sleepover tonight with my closest friends. It has been awhile (:

Examinations are around the corner
Hey all,
As examinations are around the corner and I am mugging my butt off to pass my year, I wish all of you out there all the best for the examinations. I know sitting down at the desk for a few hours straight is a pain in the butt (literally and metaphorically), but do know that you are not alone!
To all my friends who are left with just that final papers to the end of university life, really really proud of you guys to have survived the 3-4 years of university! May your journey into the next phase in life be filled with success and huge achievements!
Lastly, I have decided to depend on my faithful orange camera and attempt proper photos and editing via the computer instead of depending on my phone. It really drains the battery and takes up alot of my memory. Hope I can get down to proper blogging after my examinations!

Changes in 2014.

As seen from the lack of updates and how inconsistent I am, I can't be a blogger that sits down at the computer every night to update every single day. It is really not in me to do it. Hello 2014, Goodbye 2013!
2013 has been a wonderful year for me as I spent every single moment with my amazing boyfriend. Though it has been difficult as I have to repeat a year in uni as well as handle an entire CCA without any guidance, I think it is safe to say I have done a pretty good job to be able to survive.
As usual, every new year, it's time to do the cliché!
2014 New Year Resolution:
1) Consistent Studying
2) Promote to Uni Year 2
3) Regularly update nail polish blog.
4) Fix an amount to save every month.
5) Buy some gaming shit for the boyfriend.
6) Decorate my new room awesomely
7) Update blog regularly
8) Bring netball to sports ministry in church.

Dear CL.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to start a blog war. Just to clarify some issues. Basically, you have been a thorn in my friend's relationship. Not good. Yea you were some girl of the guy's past, and you are trying hard to move on. Your blog is basically incessant chanting on how much you have moved on. Question is, have you?
When I used to be hung up on my ex, I blogged non-stop. "He is a bastard, there's nothing worth holding on to." "I don't want anymore of this drama, so stfu and leave me alone." yada-yada-yada. I've been through it all. And all I can say is, no matter how much you wanna hate that guy, you can't. Because love overpowers hate anytime and the actual opposite of love is indifference. You literally have to stop caring. Difficult, but just ignore everything. Even this post (if you manage to see it.) If you want to acknowledge it, just blog "I understand" it will be good.
I don't know what kind of a guy he is, but I know what kind of girl my friend is. So as far as I am concerned, if he hasn't hurt her yet, there is no reason for me to beat him up (literally). It is very rude to hurl insults at people. As you can see, I haven't insulted you at all because I want to show that I just wanna be a mediator. Whatever you said in your post, is totally uncalled for. I am very very sure my friend did not drag you back into any drama. She even has proof for it. See below.
I think it is a pretty decent message. You even replied nicely so that means you're a nice girl! There is definitely no sarcasm in her tone. Why? Quoted "you know her name, but you don't know her story." To summarize it, she has suffered a broken heart as well. And she understands the pain, as well as how your friends see you go through the pain because she saw through mine. It's not like we have never cried until our eyes swell the next day. Or scream our lungs out hoping it relieves the pain. If you really wanna move on, delete his number, delete his pictures, delete everything that has him. It will take awhile but it has to be done. Unless they are deleted, you can never fully move on.
Drunk texts and calls don't work. I tried. Patching back with an ex-boyf/ex-lover, don't work either. You can have the nostalgia and think back on all the sweet moments you had, but don't let those memories fool you because there is a reason why it ended. If there was no reason, it wouldn't have ended at all. That one reason will always be the cause of every end no matter how many times you patch up. Trust me, my 3-yr long r/s, break and patch about 3-4 cycles, it still ended.
I hope you can read this post with an open mind, not as an enemy's backup. Think of it as reading advice from a magazine "Love Talks" column. A girl-to-girl chit chat session. All these are simply advices, but they only work if you are determined to help yourself. You had so many wonderful happenings in your life, so believe in those happy events. (:

LEH-GO-LAND
A few weeks back, Boyf and I went to Legoland Malaysia with our friends Anna and Junyi! I never really got about to putting my pictures on my personal blog, so now I have finally found the time! We had such a fun day but only because we had the right company. Legoland is an interactive place which is more suited for families with young children instead of young adults. However, if you are a young adult with a kid in you, you will definitely have fun as long as you are with your friends. (:

Jealousy reeks.
Never really been fond of myself. I've always felt my shoulders were too broad, too much love handles, and everywhere that was once toned is now flabby. Kinda sucky especially when I know my boyfriend is pretty good-looking that girls actually "fish" him in clubs. I've been working on my dagger stares whenever I club with him. *oops* Do you know how jealous I am of girls who I don't think even need to exercise and yet they just stay slim??!?!?!! My once slim legs which are the only assets I am proud of just looks gross because my butt ain't toned ):
I guess girls really have to forsake alot of things in life if they really want to look good. As in healthy good and not stick-thin "good" which is not good. (Am I making sense?) Anyway, I mean to stay healthy looking with a toned body, it means constant exercising with proper meals, supper not included. Proper sleep is also needed (not a very good example with this late post sighhhh) to give you good complexion and NO EYEBAGS! ): yes my eyebags are soooo bad that instagram filters cannot hide them! /: So that means I need to say "NO!" to late night supper with friends ): yup, sacrifices for a pretty face and hot bod.
For girls who are trying to stay on a vegetarian diet just to look good, do note that to be completely vegetarian, you need to take supplement pills to give you the vitamins/minerals that can only be found in meat. So I suggest eating meat as they should be cheaper than your pills and they taste good. Just remove the fats!
Probably the next thing to continue staying pretty, is to get a good camera.(HAHA!) Either that or pay for some awesome app and add filters just to look pretty. I am terribly horrible with that and overlays because I am extremely lazy, but I think I should start and do blogposts with nice photos. I shall prove that a DSLR is not needed ^^

Insanely eventful weekend
Hey everybody! So my weekend started off with the BBQ on Friday at Junyi's place. It was an amazing BBQ because I prepared most of the food. Like literally. There was a miscommunication as I mentioned in the previous post hence I marinated the sambal stingray and squid on my own for the group. I thought 'ok one BBQ and then I have to exercise during the weekend."
That did not happen. Yes I did have training on Saturday morning at SCGS but that very night itself, I had another BBQ. OMG. The food was awesome though. There was beer, wine and moscato. The potato salad was awesome! The prawns were amazing as well! I have no idea which caterer it was but I think I need to find out soon!
And then there was today, I just came back from Sherilyn's 21st birthday party at her place. Her youngest sister was so adorable. She was so excited to "rap", sing and dance for the crowd. What a cutiepie! Boyfriend and I had such a great time. I will do a photo post one of these days when I am very free to select my pictures.

Busy week!
Hey everybody, this week has been a busy week for me. I recently started my netball competiton, Energizer National League (ENL) and so did my SIM recreational team. So I have been helping them with their training as well as going down to watch the other teams of my club. Been so busy travelling up and down. I still have to pack in work and also some fun time.
Managed to catch Fast and Furious 6 as well as Hangover 3 within 1 week. Amazing! Not only that, I just got back from a BBQ with friends. For the first time, I marinated the BBQ food instead of having it catered due to a miscommunication on who was to get the food. At least I managed to experience grocery shopping with Junyi, Anna and my lovely boy, Qingyuan (: So I had to marinate the stingray and squid and place the sambal chilli over them. Quite a fun experience and it is wayyyy cheaper than getting it catered.
Due to my extremely hectic week, I haven't actually found the time to transfer my polish posts over to my new website. Don't worry I will get it done by the middle of next week! Get ready for some new colours ^^ The nail review website link will not be revealed until I have set it up nicely. So be patient guys!
Gotta head to bed now because I have training at 9am tomorrow! ): Goodnight everybody!

Workout Challenge!
Hello there! How has your week been so far? It's mid-week so anybody heading out to party? ^^ So my exams just ended and I took up some workout challenge which I chanced upon on all my social media platforms. They are the 30-days ab challenge and the 30-days squat challenge. Abs and perky butt, I will be waiting for your return :P Below are the challenges which I took off instagram and facebook (: Today was Day 1 for me and I hope I can actually keep to it ^^
There is also a 10-day ab challenge so if you don't want any rest days and want a quick challenge you can try these also! I added in a 10 mins run at the end of my exercise. So start working out now!

Mother's Day!
Hey everybody, I have been feeling so stressed up that I rather watch shows or play Sims 3 on my computer than to study. A little mental especially since I have 2 core subjects that are really important for me to do well otherwise I can say goodbye to my university education ): Somebody please save my soul ): I actually cried at Han's cafe before I started smiling again. Seriously mental -.- but 2 DOWN 3 MORE TO GO!
Anyway, Mother's day is coming up. Have you guys gotten anything for your mum? The best gift ever and I am going to say the most cliché phrase: Mothers just want some of your time. I can be honest with you, my mum is so naggy I do actually feel like taping her mouth up. I know, it sounds evil. Yet once I've calmed myself down and I am sitting in my room thinking, I end up seeing things from her perspective.
My mum is a worrier. She worries about every single detail on this entire earth! She doesn't like me taking the car out late because she believes somebody will notice and start to lurk around in the wee hours to kidnap me. She secretly thinks that any male friend of mine she hasn't met before has the intention of selling me off if I hang out with him. I am coming 21, yet she worries for me as if i'm 3. But that is what mothers do. Maybe not as extreme as mine but they still worry. So the best gift to all mothers is really to see you, have a meal with you, chat with you and know more about you. I mean she gave birth to you so she definitely would like to know what is going on in the life of this being she had brought onto this earth. She has every right to know in fact. A gift on Mother's Day can make her happy for a day, but spending time with her, or even just a phone call to let her know who you're out with and what time you're coming back to put her mind at ease, can make a happy everyday. Spend time with your mother. She really don't expect much (:
Gifts like a wallet, handbag, make up, perfume, nail polish are wonderful gifts. You can't go wrong with that Mums still wanna stay young and pretty. They are women after all. However if you want to go for something unique and fresh, if you have time on your hands and you really like art and craft, check out http://www.creativepopupcards.com. Hey guys, I chanced upon this video on my Facebook newsfeed. It's the female version of "When I Was Your Man" by Bruno Mars. The lyrics are slightly different so that it is from a girl's perspective and I think it's really good. Madilyn Bailey managed to portray the regretful feeling almost like Bruno Mars did, but different in a sense that it was to admit the mistakes they made as a couple and that she finally realized that she deserved somebody better.
It rings a certain bell in me. In every relationship, there is no complete right or wrong. Both are responsible for the mistakes made. But for girls who dated guys with huge pride, you need to be strong to realize you deserve somebody better. I'm not saying that guys are always at fault, don't jump to conclusion. What I'm saying is based on the context of this song, you might take awhile to realize, but it's alright. I took a long time, but now I finally got somebody who "buys me flowers and holds my hand, gives me all his hours when he has the chance." (:

TITLE.
Hey there, pardon the title because I couldn't come up with one.
Have been busy studying with the boy and friends. Sadly, all my friends are going to end their examinations wayyyy earlier than me. Well not all, just most. As you know, I have recently been appointed the President of SIM Netball Club. It is a huge role as it is being captain with administrative responsibilites. Just checked the club's email and there were so many enquiries about joining the club that were unanswered. Hope that those people still have an interest in joining after I replied them ): So if any readers who are in SIM and are interested to join Netball (recreational or competitive), do drop an email to netball@clubs.sim.edu.sg and I promise you I will reply you within a week. (:
I have been totally hooked onto nail polish thanks to my dear friend Sherilyn. If you are a nail polish addict, especially indie brands, do check out my friend's swatch blog (nailsbysherilyn.wordpress.com) She gives great reviews and you would be able to find some good brands which are among her favourites (: Follow her on instagram as well! (http://instagram.com/sherilynnnnnn) I am totally excited about my Jindie Nails prize which is on their way. Will probably start swatching soon but I will need to learn from Sherilyn hahaha.
